He's here

Wow! I really haven't posted in awhile. :)

We welcomed our new boy on April 12 at 2:19am. He came two weeks early because I had a headache that wouldn't go away for a few days and my bp started to go really high after laying down. So they were worried about preeclampsia. He was 8lbs 1oz (not bad for 2 weeks early). It was definately the easiest labor and delivery and for the first time ever I got an epidureal that worked! (He did flip at like 36 weeks :) )

He's now 3.5 months and is doing great. He rolled over from back to front for the first time this week and keeps doing it. :) He is eating and sleeping great. He's already up to about 16lbs!

The girls just love him. they think he's theirs. :)

Turn baby turn

Well the baby is doing well however he switched to breech. He was head down last time. She said that even though 34 weeks they usually turn, because it's my 3rd the space is more stretched out so there could be time for him to still turn. Bean2 was transverse at 34 weeks but turned at 35.5 (of course that was so painful!)

He's also still measuring really big (estimated 5bs 12 oz RIGHT NOW...eek). so still could be 10 or 11lbs then about 1/2 through the scan i started getting really really hot and light headed like i was really going to pass out. when the tech left to get the doc i sat up and DH said i was sweating. i felt a little better but still light headed. when i went to see my doc next, she said it was probably just from laying on my back. but it wasn't fun. i'm feeling back to about 70% right now.

Otherwise things were good. my BP was fine and i gained about 5 lbs i think. i go back in 2 weeks and then every other week. getting close!

Anyone reading this who's tried a version? how did it go?

potty potty potty

So when last I wrote about the potty bean2 had started wearing underwear (mid-Nov). She's worn it since then!!! however Nov and Dec we had to also have her in the plastic outer layer and would basically have to ask (=make) her go every hour. but she kept it up! Jan 5 she started a new daycare and we were worried how that would go and if she's take a step back?? Well she's actually done better! Now she's just in regular underwear and often goes 2 hrs or so and tells us often! I think she's only had 2 accidents in January! :) Her and DH actually went on a 4 hr plane ride but we convinced her to wear a pull up under her underwear and it was totally dry both ways! yeah! I'm so proud.

She tells me she's proud of me using the potty all the time too. :)

It's winter!

Wow! it's really been a long time since I've blogged! Not sure if anyone is even checking around. (Hi if you are! :) )

I've been feeling pretty well for the most part. I'm almost 28 weeks now which I can't believe. The 2nd trimester was so much easier this time than with the girls. Except being tired I barely felt pregnant (and didn't really look it). However the last 2-3 weeks have started to catch up with me.

Sleeping is now uncomfortable and then I had a horrible weekend. Bean1 and I went on a trip to see some friends in Ohio. On the way out she got sick and threw up on the entire plan ride there. but that night she was better and we had a great time on Sat. Sunday morning I woke up....throwing up. I couldn't keep anything in all day and was feeling really light-headed...just as I had to get on the airplane alone with a 4 yr old. I really thought I was going to pass out and end up in the hospital alone with her. But fortunately I made it and didn't get sick again and was able to drink water on the plane.

The girls were so happy to see each other when we got back from our respective trips (bean2 went off with DH)
