10 lb challenge update!
I just heard today that I won the grand prize for the 10 lb challenge update! I am so excited! I also got the prize for the biggest loser!
For those of you still trying and struggling---I swear by weight watchers. I really never thought I could do it. I had given up on ever not being overweight (and was in the obese category--freaks me out to say it). I only started WW on a whim in Sept with a friend who got diagnosed with diabetes and told to lose weight. I did great Sept-Dec and then slowed down a little in early Jan. I think I was letting myself slack a little too much. The 10 lb challenge kicked me in gear and got me focusing again. Thank you Erika @ newlyweds on a budget!! Without sounding like a silly commerical i never would have believed--- I haven't really felt like I'm missing much on WW (except right now when I want to go rip the potato chips out of the cabinet!!! and the occassionally dinner roll (or 3) when we go out to eat). It's been so much easier than I ever though.
ups and downs
So last week I had a great week and at my Friday weigh in I was down another 3 lbs. That brought my total weight loss to -45.6!! I'm so excited! I can't believe how close to 50 I am. I never thought I could have done it! And have about 15-18 more to go.
However this past week I've been bad and think I might be up 1-2 (although I guess still down over the 2 weeks). I have a few days to get my act together!
I did have to go clothes shopping today--- I have no nice pants etc and have some family events. I was able to buy a size Large skirt today that is so cute. I haven't had "cute" clothes in so long---and haven't bought a large since before DD1 was born in 2004. I was so psyched! To think 7 months ago I was wearing 1-2x! (fyi i'm 5'10" so am never going to be a size small or maybe even medium!)

weight update
As of Monday the end of the challenge I lost about 13 lbs! That also brings my total to 42.6 lbs since Sept! Now 20 more to go.... The past few weeks have been going slow and steady .5 or so a week. Need to kick it in gear though. I'd like that closer to 1 lb a week. I'm excited to see who the winners are and how everyone did.
I am happy that I have stayed on the negative track since both dd2 and ds had birthdays in the last 2 weeks. an oh i love cake!

He's here
Wow! I really haven't posted in awhile. :)
We welcomed our new boy on April 12 at 2:19am. He came two weeks early because I had a headache that wouldn't go away for a few days and my bp started to go really high after laying down. So they were worried about preeclampsia. He was 8lbs 1oz (not bad for 2 weeks early). It was definately the easiest labor and delivery and for the first time ever I got an epidureal that worked! (He did flip at like 36 weeks :) )
He's now 3.5 months and is doing great. He rolled over from back to front for the first time this week and keeps doing it. :) He is eating and sleeping great. He's already up to about 16lbs!
The girls just love him. they think he's theirs. :)
